Zonos app
Last updated: August 22, 2026
Zonos updated our duty calculations in the Zonos app ahead of July 24 so that shipments arriving on July 24 or later are quoted the new rate structure.
All tariffs paid via the Zonos app are guaranteed — Zonos takes on the risk of any discrepancy for these shipments.
Shipments processed in the Zonos app are filed by Evolve Trade Services, a licensed U.S. customs brokerage Zonos has acquired. As we update our agreements with each post to provide the newly required brokerage services, we may need you to agree to use Evolve Trade Services as the broker for your shipments in the meantime, until your post is set up to do so. Those agreements are already underway, so this step should be short-lived.
Section 338 duty on Canadian-origin goods has been calculated in the Zonos app since it took effect August 22. Duty collected on a shipment before the effective date moved from August 19 to August 22 is being refunded. Keep an eye on this page for updates as we work through the refund process.
Tariffs into the U.S.: recent changes and what you need to know
The Supreme Court struck down IEEPA-based tariffs, and the administration responded with global 10% Section 122 surcharges. Those expired for all postal shipments on July 24, regardless of origin. As of July 24, normal duties (MFN, Section 232, Section 301, etc.) apply to postal shipments for the first time — they've always applied to commercial shipments. For most countries — the 60 economies covered by the new Section 301 forced-labor tariff — that tariff has effectively replaced Section 122. This page explains what it means for your shipments, your invoices, and your workflows.
